Adult Day Programs
Sacred Heart Care Center provides a variety of Adult Day Programs, with some specializing in the care of seniors with dementia-related disorders such as Alzheimer’s Disease. Each week day morning, our staff picks up clients from their homes and brings them to Sacred Heart’s Adult Day Programs. Here these individuals receive a nutritious noon meal and snacks. The clients are then assisted with personal and health care and they then participate with their peers in a variety of programs. Activities are based on individual abilities and have been designed to promote socialization, stimulate physical and mental activity, and enhance self-esteem.
Adult day care centers are designed for older individuals who need help with activities of daily living or who are isolated and lonely. At the centers, seniors are able to socialize with others while receiving assistance and supervision.
